Grading & Homework submission:
As in Linear Algebra I, there will be just one grade for both the lecture Linear Algebra II and the Math. Tutorial 2b. It will be based on the midterm exam (30%), final exam (40%) and homework (30%). 

Course schedule (Tentative): 
The following gives a tentative overview of the topics we will cover each week. 
Week 01 (04/10-04/16): Recall Linear Algebra I & Overview 
Week 02 (04/17-04/23): Vector spaces 
Week 03 (04/24-04/30):  Linear maps 
Week 3.5 (05/01-05/07): Golden week  (We have a lecture on 05/01 but NO tutorial on 05/02)  
Week 04 (05/08-05/14): The matrix of a linear map
Week 05 (05/15-05/21): Determinants & Mathematical induction 
Week 06 (05/22-05/28): Properties of the determinant I     
Week 07 (05/29-06/04): Midterm exam: 29th May 
Week 08 (06/05-06/11):  Properties of the determinant II  (No tutorial on 06/08 due to Medai-sai)
Week 09 (06/12-06/18): Eigenvalues and eigenvectors I   
Week 10 (06/19-06/25): Eigenvalues and eigenvectors II
